What will happen:
  • Every evening, you will receive an email with any updates from your subscribed pages.

  • If you have 3 children from either Cottage Hill or Magnolia AND you have subscribed to the school and teacher pages, you will receive one email that contains all of the updates.   The goal is to make communication easy for our parents as they could be getting information from two schools and 5 teachers, all in one concise email.

The PTC Fall Family Fun Night Committee is excited to announce that we will be having a holiday-themed walk through experience for our kiddos! Please click the link for details and be sure to join the PTC at our next meeting Wednesday, 9/8 @ 12:30pm in the District Office to find out about all the other fun events we take part in. We always need more help. Hope to see you there!
 
Hi Parents, it is RACE TIME!
 
Next week your child will be bringing home information about the Jog-A-Thon. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the PTC and it helps to fund many school programs. This year we are raising money to help redo the grass field at Cottage Hill. Please keep a lookout in your child's backpack this week. The JAT will be September 24th. 

Don’t forget Friday’s are school spirit days!

Look out for an order form coming home with your student this week. Checks and PayPal are accepted. 

 

Cold weather is just around the corner and now is the perfect time to place an order for a cozy school spirit hoodie!

Attention Chairpersons!  If you are unable to attend the August meeting, please send your update to the Secretary by the end of today, Tuesday, 8/24.

  • Collaborative Art Program (front-of-school art) - Chair needed!

Unsure about chairing or co-chairing a specific event?  Jr. Chair positions are also now open for all PTC events, and a great way for you to see how the events are run plus decide if you would like to take a Chair or Co-chair role the following year!

Now Hiring After School Rec Positions!
 
Cottage Hill is seeking applicants for the Rec Supervisor position ($19/hour) and two Rec Aide positions ($17/hour), to work in our after school care program Monday through Friday.  All positions are part time.
 
If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please call the school office at 530-268-2808.

It's almost time to welcome back our Cottage Hill staff and the PTC needs your help!! On Monday, Aug 16th we will be hosting our Welcome Back Teacher Luncheon and we need food donations to make it happen. Please take a moment to sign-up, everything helps!
 
*All donations need to be at CH by 9:00am on Aug 16th*
 
Nevada County Fair Scholar Day
 
Wednesday, August 11 is Scholar Day at the Fair.  Your student can get free admittance to the festivities that day, as well as a free frozen treat between 1-2 pm. 
 
Stop by the Cottage Hill office to pick up your admission sticker!
