Hello Nevada County families! March 17^th is a Thursday, but not just any Thursday...It's California Thursday. That means our Child Nutrition Services Team will be serving up California food for California kids! We are proud to be offering our students a Strawberry Spinach Walnut Salad to complement their school meal. Sierra Harvest’s Farm to School Liaisons will be on hand to dole out taste tests of this popular lunch item and speak with our students and staff about the CA Thursday program and how it’s changing the future of school food in Nevada County.
