For the past few months students have been decorating key necklaces in room 19 at snack recess. This activity was from the head and heart of two of our very own Kindness Crew members: Jackson and Taylor. Taylor's idea and Jackson brought to life. Students decorated their own key to keep, a key for a friend, , and a key to pass on. These necklaces remind us that the key to kindness is inside of all of us. It opens the door to friendship and opportunity. Passing a key on can start a chain reaction of good deeds and friendly action. This activity started small and expanded to 1st to 5th grade students! Great work everyone! Also, thank you to the local hardware stores including Ace hardware, Hills Flat lumber, and B and C for donating keys for this activity.
This is Jackson! We hope everyone will participate. You can get keys and string from Michael's, Ace Hardware, the Home Depot, and Hills Flat Lumber. Have fun!
