Yearbook Pick Up

Last Friday, 68 yearbooks were given out but there are still many that need to be distributed. The PTC realizes that many parents work into the evening or were out of town and were not able to pick up during the 5 hour window of time, and we hear you. The next opportunity to pick up your student’s yearbook will be on Thursday, July 16th, from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the front of the school. After that, yearbooks can be picked up on August 13th during Sweet Beginnings Teacher Reveal, when class lists are posted. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the unpredictable nature of this COVID season.

Yearbooks Have Arrived!

The yearbooks have arrived and will be available for pick up on Friday between 10:30-3:30 in the office at Cottage Hill.  If you ordered/prepaid a yearbook and are unable to pick it up on Friday, please email Laura Estes at [email protected] to make other arrangements.  Thank you for your patience!

As many of you heard yesterday, Governor Newsom, issued an order that Californians wear face masks in public places.  Most parents have been very clear that they do not want their child to have to wear a mask at school.  I have taken many phone calls today from parents who are concerned about how this will affect our plans here at Cottage Hill.  I was notified by Mr. Clark this morning that schools and child care centers are EXEMPT from having to wear masks.  It continues to be our plan that students will not be required to wear masks.  Information is changing rapidly...  I wish I could give you a firm answer about what school will look like in August, but I can't.  Our goal is that we return to school in as "normal" a fashion as possible withn the law.
Free Summer Meals for Kids are available Monday through Friday between 10:30-12:30 at Cottage Hill.  Children do not have to be present to pick up meals.  Simply pull up to the curb and and let us know how many lunches you would like.  There is NO CHARGE for this service, and you do not have to be on the Free/Reduced Lunch program to participate!

Parents: we still have many art portfolios and bags of students' personal belongings left in the MPR...  Please come pick up the beautiful work that your child has created and the things that were in their desk.  The office staff can let you in the MPR  M-F between 8-3.  Thank you!
If you have not already done so, please go the PRSD district webpage and complete the survey regarding distance learning and internet connectivity.  While we are making plans to return to school, we are also making plans to provide a high quality distance learning plan if we need it.  Your input is important, as we need to know what percentage of our families are unable to access digital lessons due to time, supervision, devices, or internet.  Thanks!

Yearbook Delay:Lifetouch Letter

Please see the attached letter from Lifetouch regarding yearbooks.  We will notify everyone once the yearbooks have been shipped and arrange a way for you to pick them up here in the office at Cottage Hill.  If you did not order a yearbook but want one, there will be a limited number for sale (cash only) in the office once they arrive.
Yearbooks have not yet been delivered to Cottage Hill.  Due to delays in production and delivery, we do not have a date yet for when they are expected.  As soon as I hear that they are on their way, I will let you know!
The Cottage Hill Office is Reopening!

Beginning Thursday, May 21, the office at Cottage Hill will be open regular hours from 8-4.  We can help you by phone or in person with registration, packet pick up, or any other school-related needs you may have.  Yay for a little slice of normal!
DL Packets/Personal Belongings/ART DOCENT PORTFOLIO's were all available for pick up yesterday, May 11th.  We have quite a few that were not picked up!  They are still in the MPR at Cottage Hill, and will not be moved to the district office this time.  You can stop by the MPR daily during the lunch pick up time between 11:00-12:30 or you can come by on Tuesdays between 8-2 from now to the end of the year.  These are your child's personal items from their desk, and the beautiful artwork they did during the year.  Please make some time to come pick it up.
