Cottage Hill's final packet pick up will be Monday, May 11th between 9-1. The teachers will be curbside from 9-11, hoping to have a chance to wave and smile at their students as we pass packets through the window! We encourage you to bring the kids, but everyone needs to stay in the car. Packets and personal belongings not picked up by 1:00 will be kept at Cottage Hill (not moved to the DO this time). The office will also be open on Tuesdays from 8-2.
These special gifts were picked up by the teachers today. A “Thank You” from the PTC, and ultimately all the families of Cottage Hill, paid for by your fundraised money/donations. Tomorrow is the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week which will be “the classroom collaborative gift.” Hopefully you had a chance to participate in some way this week that was quick, easy and fun.
It sounds weird to state that even though school is not in session on campus, the PTC is still meeting, planning and dreaming up some really fun ways to support students and teachers on campus when we return to school. One of the first events we are turning our focus to is a HUGE “Welcome Back” event and we need your input and help to put it together. Join us via Zoom this upcoming Wednesday, May 13th at 12:30pm. We welcome all parents/guardians to attend. If you are interested, please comment below and we will contact you personally.

Hello Cottage Hill Families!
Monday is the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week. If you’ve got the time, please send your teacher some “love in the mail.” A letter, card, or piece of artwork with a short message to your teacher telling him/her what your student/family appreciates or finds special about them. This activity can be made more fun by taking turns writing the words or sentences out. Maybe even change the color of the pen/pencil/crayon as you write. Your teacher will love seeing the collaborative effort. Send your note in the mail to your teacher in care of:

Harper is doing a hands-on math lesson from Mrs. Rowe's distance learning packet. Thank you, parents, for sending pictures of your kids learning at home!
You can still register for Kindergarten/TK by going to the school web page and clicking ENROLL NOW. If you are enrolling for TK, please select the Kindergarten option (they are considered part of the same program). If your child is currently in TK, you do NOT need to enroll in K. Your child will automatically "roll up" and we will just ask you to update your information later in the summer. If you prefer, you can pick up a paper enrollment packet in the district office. Preschool applications must be picked up/dropped off at the District Office.
Skylor and Sierra are working on collages together. This is Skylor's assignment, but Sierra wanted to make one of her own! At packet pick up day this week I heard so many parents say that their kids are getting along better than they usually do... Maybe when our friendship options are limited we start to value the people around us more?
If you did not pick up your distance learning packet, it is now available at the District Office. If your child's personal items were handed out this week but you did not pick them up, they will be available at the next/last pick up day on May 11th.
Warm weather means taking your work outside to do!
Distance Learning Multi-Tasking! Audrey and Emily are folding laundry while listening to Mrs. Whitney read Harry Potter aloud.
Callie and Ryan are taking a break from their distance learning and walking their goats, enjoying the sunshine! Don't forget to make time for exercise breaks and play during your day!
