Daylight Savings Time begins Saturday night! Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed!
Our Picture Re-Re-Retake Day will be Thursday, November 21st. Please use the picture order envelope already sent home if you are ordering pictures for the first time this year. If you are getting retakes done, please send in the picture package envelope with your child.
The Kids Can Food Drive continues until November 15th. Please send in boxed or canned food items to the classroom to help families in our community. Thank you!
Thursday is Halloween and the Halloween Parade! Students (and adults!) may wear costumes to school. The parade starts at 8:30 and parents are invited to watch! Please respect the following rules when it comes to costumes at school:
No masks, full or partial. Face make up is great and hats are fine. This is a safety issue.
No weapons of any kind. This includes swords, knives, guns, light sabers, Ninja stars...
Students must still be able to participate in all school activities (like sitting at a desk). Please be sure that students will be comfortable sitting, walking, standing, and playing in their costumes.
See you Thursday for the parade!
Assuming we have school tomorrow, (and I am...) we will have picture day as scheduled! Only those students with a picture envelope and payment information, or those who are returning pictures packages, will have their picture taken. Three year old preschool WILL have their pictures taken tomorrow as well!
Hello Cottage Hill Families! It is not known at this time whether we will have power tomorrow (Monday). Please check your phone/voicemail/email for a message from Rusty Clark after 5:45 am to see if school is going to be closed.
Assuming we are in school on Tuesday, we will have our Picture Retake Day on Tuesday as planned. If you missed pictures, please be sure to send your child with a completed picture envelope (sent home before Break) and payment information. If you are needing retakes, please send your original pictures back to school. I also suggest that you message your child's teacher so he/she knows your child needs their picture taken.
I hope you are all safe and healthy and look forward to seeing you soon!
PRSD will be using the "SNOW DAYS" that were calendared for this year to make up two of the days when the power was shut off and school was closed. We always schedule these two days just in case, and the past two years we have needed them! We do not need to make up the third day.
We WILL have school on April 13, the Monday after Spring Break. This will be a regular day, 7:50-2:00.
The last day of school is now Friday, June 5th (instead of Thursday). Thursday will be a full day (2:00 dismissal) and now Friday will be a minimum day (12:00 dismissal).
We will send home plenty of reminders between now and then, but wanted to give you advance notice of this calendar change.
Minimum Days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!
Hi families,
Please keep a look out in your child's backpacks for the Original Works Artware packets filled with their artwork. Check it out and return it back to school by Thursday if you wish to purchase any items. This fundraiser is how we fund our amazing art program and the items make wonderful holiday gifts! We apologize for the rush and appreciate your understanding as the teachers were not able to send them home in last week's folders. Also, be sure to check out the wall in the main office for sample items of what you can purchase. It's an amazing way to celebrate your child's artwork!
Picture Retake Day has been moved to Tuesday, October, 29.
If you did not get a picture taken on the original picture day, this day is for you! Please fill out the picture envelope that will be going home in the Thursday Folder this week. If you are not happy with the pictures that were taken, please send the pictures in on October 29th and they will be retaken.
Thank you Cottage Hill Families for making our Jogathon a HUGE success!
