About Preschool

 

We have two great Preschool classes to meet the needs of the families in our community. The Preschool operates on the campus of Cottage Hill Elementary in room #22. The program follows the same calendar year as the elementary school but is divided into 3 twelve week sessions. We have a 4 year old class that meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and a 3 year old class that meets on Tuesday and Thursday. Both classes meet from 7:55 am to 10:55 am. 

 

Each class provides your child with the opportunity for social & emotional development as well as school readiness preparation. Each class is designed to meet the needs of children individually and as a whole unit. Activities and curriculum are age and readiness appropriate. The Preschool has their own time on the small playground for recess use. We also visit the school's library and computer lab. When age appropriate, we are able to attend the school assemblies.

 

The Preschool program attends 3 off-site field trips per year, one per session. We have many other enriching opportunities for the children to experience throughout the year.
