What are Scholastic Book Clubs?
This is a great way for your student to purchase books he or she can be excited about reading, all while helping our classroom library to grow.
How does it work?
Every month, a Scholastic book order form will be sent home with your student. Children read more when they choose their own books, so I encourage you to look through the book order form together. Books can be chosen based off of your student's interests and/or reading level. Order forms and payment are then sent to me so I can submit a class order. When a class order is placed, you will not only receive the books you ordered for your student, but we will also earn points that can be used to purchase books for our class library. Everybody wins! Better yet, if you order online, you will not only save time, but you will have access to more book choices and earn extra rewards for yourself and our class.
How do I order online?
Register an online account HERE. When creating your account, you will be asked for our class code: YYRJY. This makes sure your orders are being applied to our class order. Browse books according to your student's grade level, interests, and/or reading level. Submit payment online and wait for your order to arrive!
If I don't want to create an online account, what are acceptable forms of payment to submit with my student's book order form?
Checks made payable to Scholastic Book Clubs. No cash please.
