Our Lost and Found is overflowing!!

Whenever it is not raining, we will be putting the lost and found clothing items out on the steps of the courtyard.  There are many very nice winter jackets and sweatshirts that will surely be missed as the weather gets colder...  If you are missing any clothing, feel free to stop by and check to see if we have it.  All items will be donated at Thanksgiving Break.
If you are volunteering (or plan to volunteer) at school, you will need to show that you are fully vaccinated OR be willing to get a weekly Covid test.  You can test at the district office for free tomorrow morning between 7:30-7:50.  Cottage Hill offers testing every Wednesday.  Thank you to all the parents who have agreed to one or the other of these requirements in order to work in the classrooms.  We appreciate you!
“T WAS AMAZING!!!  Every aspect of this years abbreviated Fall Family Fun Night, turned fantastical “Pirates of the Caribbean” walk through in the garden, was just so excellent!  Thank you admin, teachers and staff who hyped up and supported the event. Thank you to the volunteers who collected candy and helped bag approximately 455 treat bags on Thursday afternoon (it was great to see some new faces).  Thank you to all the volunteers who consistently showed up to make the sets and props for the event, AND THEN set it up, AND THEN staffed it. And last, but certainly not least, thank you to the Herbert family, for dreaming up and then hosting the crafting/painting/building days at their house for two full months and then making the magic come alive this past Friday afternoon.  The smiles and laughter and enjoyment on Friday made all worth it. We cannot keep this greatness to ourselves,  check out the awesomeness here on our Facebook page:

Fall is FINALLY here and the PTC has been working tirelessly on the next event to bring joy to Cottage Hill students and staff, Fall Family Fun Night!  FFFN has traditionally been held on campus in the evening and open to all CH families and local community.  In consideration of the pandemic, the PTC has pivoted and modified the event to take place on campus on Friday, October 29th.  We've taken the most beloved part of FFFN, the walk through experience (historically it’s located in the MPR), and moved it out to the garden.
The theme this year is "Pirates of the Caribbean" and it is shaping up to be one of the best walkthrough experiences to date.  Every classroom/teacher will have an opportunity to participate.  As always, in attempts to keep costs as low as possible, the PTC is asking for help from families by way of candy donations.
