Sierra Harvest Farm to School Liaison

The Parent Teacher Club is pleased to introduce you Anna Mudd, she is the Sierra Harvest Farm to School Liaison for 2019-20 school year. Anna will be continuing the work of Jodi Porter in bringing farm and food education and access to students and their families. Farm to School activities include monthly harvest tastings, farmer visits to classrooms, field trips to farms, chef recipe demonstrations, and school garden classes! She will be hosting a garden cart (near the main entrance) with organic produce from local farmers, for sale by donation, during student pick-up time on Fridays through mid-November (9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15).
This program is brought to you by Jog-A-Thon funds.
