SCHOOL IS CLOSED TODAY (Wednesday, February 18)

School will be closed today, Wednesday, February 18. While the roads were drivable this morning when doing a check, there were a number of icy spots in Alta Sierra and the Office of Emergency Services (OES) said that the early morning snow and cold may make it more dangerous. OES also advised that they expect snow throughout the day in Alta Sierra. Additionally, staffing at our food services, transportation services, and school sites was becoming an issue as other portions of the county were seeing more significant weather and would make it difficult for employees to reach work.
