Fourth and Fifth grade students were invited to be part of the Cottage Hill Band today! No previous band experience is required! Students took home a flyer with information about the Band Info Parent Meeting this Wednesday night at 6:30 in the Magnolia big gym. Mr. Richardson will be discussing how the band program works, costs of instrument rentals, and signing up students for instrument fittings. Please return the bottom portion of the note if your child is interested in band, even if you are not able to attend the meeting. Instrument fitting appointments will be on M/W/F next week after school. Band practice begins after the Labor Day weekend. Band is an after-school program two days per week per instrument, and Cottage Hill students will be escorted to Magnolia for practice. Students may ride the Magnolia bus home at 3:15 or be picked up by parents. This is a great program which prepares students for Magnolia Band, Jazz Band, and Bear River offerings. We hope our students will take advantage of this great opportunity!
