Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is off to a great start! This morning all staff members enjoyed a delicious doughnut from Gristmill Bakery and teachers were treated to a custom made espresso drink (or tea) from Latte Love Espresso Bar. Great experiences like this are funded through fundraising efforts coordinated by the Parent Teacher Club. Speaking of...next year's activities will be paid for by money donated to the Move-A-Thon. Let's get moving Cubs!!!
Tomorrow's TAW activity, "Team Colors" wear your teacher's favorite color.

Parent Update #2

CDC releases new school guidelines for COVID 19 Prevention

State Testing Coming Soon!

State Testing begins on May 3rd and runs through the month of May.  Different classes will be testing on different days.  Your child's teacher will be letting you know what days and times testing will be taking place for that class.  DL students will be testing here at school.  Please be sure that your child gets a good night's sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school with a "can do" attitude on those days!

Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7

SAVE THE DATE!

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3rd - 7th!

Let’s celebrate these MVPs for a GRAND SLAM year!

All week long, we will be doing something special for our teachers and staff to show them we’re their BIGGEST FANS, but we need your help!

Below, you will find the planned activities for each day. Be on the lookout for more information coming home in student folders or checkout the PTC Website. For a copy of the MVP Teacher Sheet, please click on the link.

If you have any questions or would like to help, please email bramerjenn@gmail.com or ediekodet@gmail.com .

Please Help!

Last Friday, Mr. Clark sent out an all call/email asking parents to please complete the Intent to Return Form online in powerschool parent portal. Unfortunately, we have had less than 100 filled out…

The Intent to Return Form is what we use to plan how many teachers we need at each grade level. Without those numbers, we can’t plan properly and end up having to move teachers to new grades or create combination classes at the last minute.

Please go in TODAY and fill out the Intent to Return for your child(ren). If you have a 5th grader, fill it out that your child will be returning; we will know that 5th graders are moving to Magnolia. You also have the opportunity to indicate that your child will not be returning to Pleasant Ridge at all.

Unfortunately, this cannot be done on the powerschool app. It needs to be done on a computer. If you need to come in and use one of our computers at school, we would be happy to help you. Or call the school office and we can help you over the phone.

Thank you!

Custom Cottage Hill Masks

The PTC Spirit Wear Committee is proud to announce the sale of customized Cottage Hill face masks. Masks are $13 each. These masks were lovingly handmade by a local artisan specifically for our Cubs. Masks come in two sizes: “Kids“ (recommended for grades preschool-2nd grade) and “Adult” (recommended for 3rd grade-adult). There will be a sample of each in the front office. These masks are two toned, solid green on the outside with school mascot/logo and attractive print fabric and white name tag on the inside. There is also a relief band across the earloops to relieve stress on the backs of ears and to keep the mask from falling off when pulled down from the face. The masks were made and packaged with COVID safety in mind and have been stored in it’s own ziploc bag for several days. To purchase, find the order form under “Spirit Wear” tab on the PTC website, complete the order form and pay via PayPal (check the box on the order form indicating payment) or personal check made out to “Cottage Hill PTC” and fasten to the order form and turn it in to the front office. https://sites.google.com/view/cottage-hill-ptc/spirit-wear?authuser=0
