We’re ready for a snow-tastic week in TK! ❄️⛄
Our classroom will be full of learning, creativity, and winter fun.
Literacy:
This week we are learning all about the letter S! We’ll practice saying its sound and finding words that start with S—especially snow and snowflakes. Students will enjoy snow-themed stories and hands-on activities like making playdough snowmen.
Art & Sensory Fun:
We’ll explore lots of exciting snow activities, including crafts and sensory play that spark imagination and creativity.
Special Treat:
To wrap up our week, we’ll make edible snowmen using marshmallows and small candies to decorate—yum! 🍬☃️

Literacy
- Letter of the week: Ll, Ff, Ee, Hh, Ii, Uu, Cc, Oo, Gg, Qq, Ss
- Identify beginning sounds and rhyming words
- Distinguish between letters, numbers and words
Math
- Count to 20
- Work with number 1 - 10
- Recognize and create patterns
- Students will rotate through gross motor stations including hoops, balls, scooter boards, balancing stations and cone catching.
- Compromising, respecting others, eye contact and identifying feeling
- Personal space, apologizing, and asking for help
- Following directions, being a good friend, impulse control and voice volume
- Practice taking turns, sharing, learning routines and rules.
