TK UPDATES AND REMINDERS

This week in TK we are focusing on the letter Xx! Students will practice the letter name and sound through stories, songs, writing activities, and hands-on centers. We will learn about frogs, life cycles and butterflies.

Literacy

  • Letter of the week: Ll, Ff, Ee, Hh, Ii, Uu, Cc, Oo, Gg, Qq, Ss, Jj, Dd, Vv, Pp, Aa, Bb, Kk, Rr, Mm, Nn, Ww, Xx
  • Identify beginning sounds and rhyming words
  • Distinguish between letters, numbers and words

Math

  • Count to 20
  • Work with numbers 1 - 10
  • Recognize and create patterns 
  • Shapes
