After the torrential downpours of the past few days, the mudslides, downed trees, electricity outages, and flooding made it unsafe for many of our students to come to school on Wednesday (via bus or traditional means).
After touring the district's boundaries mid-morning on Wednesday, we have determined that we will be safe to resume school at all three sites on Thursday. While we recognize that many families are still without power, the school sites' electricity has been unharmed and the sites are safe for students to return.
Bring the whole family to Family Math/Science/Music Night on November 15, from 6:30-8:00. Phil Tulga will be teaching our students during the day, then returning that night for a fun and educational presentation. Everyone will make their own musical instrument and play in "the band"! Bring one pencil and one metal spoon for each person, and get ready for a fun evening!
Be sure to mark your calendars for the annual FALL FAMILY FUN NIGHT at Cottage Hill! The fun happens from 6:00-8:00, including FREE trick or treating and a Cake Walk. Bear River High School Drama will be hosting a Haunted House in the multipurpose room for $2.00/child or $5.00/family. Food will be available for sale from THE DIVE and SWEENEY'S HOT DOGS.
