What will happen:

Every evening, you will receive an email with any updates from your subscribed pages.
If you have 3 children from either Cottage Hill or Magnolia AND you have subscribed to the school and teacher pages, you will receive one email that contains all of the updates. The goal is to make communication easy for our parents as they could be getting information from two schools and 5 teachers, all in one concise email.

TK/Kindergarten Round Up Time at Cottage Hill!

Our in-person TK/K Round Up Meeting will be March 22 at 6:30 in the MPR.

This meeting is for the parents of all incoming TK and Kindergarten students. Wondering if your child will be in TK or Kindergarten? Here are the birth dates that determine eligibility:

Kindergarten students must turn 5 years old by September 1st, 2022.

TK students will turn 5 between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023.

If your child turns 5 after February 2, 2023, they should enroll in our preschool program. Preschool enrollment will take place after Spring Break in April.

The PTC meeting for this month will be tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9th, @ 12:30pm, at the District Office.

Kindergarten Round Up is Coming!

Our Kindergarten Round Up parent meeting will be Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 in the Cottage Hill Multipurpose Room. This is an informational meeting for parents of incoming Kindergarten students. That night, parents will sign up for a quick assessment appointment, which will be the next day.

Spirit Days Coming Up!

Friday, February 11 is Sports Day! Wear your favorite team colors!

Monday, February 14 is not only Valentine's Day, it's also PJ Day!

Candy Grams!

Next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the Student Council will be selling candy grams in front of the school before school starts. Come early and bring your 50¢ to buy a candy gram for you or for a friend!

All money earned goes to Student Council to support student-selected projects.

The Gold Country Chess Kids club is meeting at Newcastle Elementary (645 Kentucky Greens Way) this Thursday at 4:45 PM. We will have some raffle prizes!

Please join us and represent Cottage Hill School Chess Club!

The Teacher SOUPer Luncheon will be postponed to a later date due to so many of our families in quarantine.

We appreciate all the families that have signed up to bring in donations, and we will keep you posted with the new event date as soon as possible. Thank you!

Reminder: The Teacher SOUPer Luncheon is Monday January 24th.

If you signed up to bring in a donation, please drop it off in the office between 7:30-8:00, on Monday January 24th. Please remember to wear a mask when you enter the office.

Order your 2021-22 Yearbook Now!

A flyer went home with directions for ordering your school yearbook. Please note the deadline for ordering is April 8 (not 18th).

The deadline for submitting an entry has been extended until tomorrow (Friday)!

Turn in your picture or design to your teacher to be entered in the contest. The winner's picture will be the cover of this year's yearbook! All grades are eligible to participate!

It's a great way to show our wonderful teachers how much we appreciate them.

It’s almost time for the Teacher SOUPer Luncheon!

The SOUPer Luncheon is a yearly event organized by the PTC to show our amazing teachers how much we appreciate them.

This year we are asking families to donate prepared soups, cookies, waters, drinks and other items for this event.

The date for this event is Monday January 24th. Look for the sign-up link in the upcoming Edlio emails, and on the PTC Facebook page.

COTTAGE HILL YEARBOOK CONTEST 2021_2022

It's time to create a cover for the Yearbook! Please check the flyer for information on how to submit your artwork for the cover contest! Info will be going out soon about ordering the yearbook.
