What will happen:
  • Every evening, you will receive an email with any updates from your subscribed pages.

  • If you have 3 children from either Cottage Hill or Magnolia AND you have subscribed to the school and teacher pages, you will receive one email that contains all of the updates.   The goal is to make communication easy for our parents as they could be getting information from two schools and 5 teachers, all in one concise email.

One more week left of candy collection for Fall Family Fun Night. Last year we collected 740 pounds and ran out. this year our goal is 1000 pounds so we can keep this event free for our community. If you can please send in bags of UN OPENED candy this week. Top class wins a pizza party. Right now we are at 100 pounds (Weird week at school we know ).
 
Also please consider signing up to help on Friday for our event. We need help both on the trick-or-treating side as well as the Haunted House side. Se links below.

Our PTC Brown Paper Bag Collection is underway!
Please donate your gently used paper grocery bags. We will reuse them for art portfolios and for mistletoe mall.  We will have the bin out in front of Cottage Hill all week. 
 
***Special Time Notice*** The PTC will meet next week on the typical "second Wednesday of the month." HOWEVER next week school dismisses at 12pm every day for parent/teacher conferences so the start time for our meeting will change, 10:30!!!  We have so many exciting things to talk about: Fall Family Fun Night, OriginalWorks Art Fundraiser, Mistletoe Mall and Jog-A-Thon successes!!  Please join us in room 17, next Wednesday October 9th at 10:30am.
We look forward to seeing all our Totally Tubular Cottage students Catch the Wave on Friday at the Jog-a-thon! Remember beach attire is encouraged, but NO flip flops allowed.
Donations were due by Wednesday, September 18th to qualify for prize incentives. Of course any donations after that date are gratefully accepted!

Making changes to your child's going home plans?????
 
Any changes to your child's dismissal plans need to be phoned in before 1:30 that day.  We have to send notes to the teachers in the classrooms and they need this information before the end of the day.  If you are calling right at dismissal time, we may not be able to get that information to your child before they get on the bus or go to pick up.  Thank you!
You are invited to join the beautiful minds and hearts that power the Parent-Teacher Club of Cottage Hill Elementary School. We will be checking in with the committee chairpersons for fall events and, as always, discussing and collaborating with one another to make this school year the best one possible. Please join us! Next Wednesday, September 11 2019, 12:30 p.m., room 17.

Bus Schedules as of Tuesday, September 3rd

Many of the pickup and drop off times for Cottage Hill and Magnolia Route 28 have been changed. If your student rides bus 28, please check your stop on the list for changes, as they may be picked up earlier in the morning or arriving home later in the afternoon. The bus schedules are on the main CH website, under the PARENT tab. Thank you for your patience during this transition.

Dear Cottage Hill Families,

It’s almost Jog-a-thon time again! Mark your calendar’s for this year’s "Catch the Wave" Jog-a-thon on Friday, September 20th.

Jog-a-thon is our largest fundraiser of the year. In the past the Jog-a-thon has allowed the PTC to fund many wonderful programs including Wonderground Science for every classroom, additional Chromebooks for the school, Family Science night and much more! This year we have some exciting goals to reach for our kiddos!

Cubby will be visiting classrooms the week of September 3rd & 4th to get the kids pumped up about Catching the Wave to our 2019 Jog-a-thon! Keep an eye out for their Jog-a-thon packets to come home that week.
