If you pre-ordered a yearbook, they will be distributed to teachers on June 3 and given to students on their autograph signing day, which varies by teacher.  We do have some yearbooks still available for purchase.  The cost is $25 cash and you can sign up for one in the office beginning next week.  Questions? Please email Clare at [email protected]
Today all students experienced the vibratory sensation of the Grass Valley Taiko drum group at school.  This group was very dynamic and entertaining.  Your student can tell you about "rhythm" and "chorus" and the power of music to transform the mundane day into one of joy.  This assembly was paid for by the money you contributed to Jog-A-Thon this year.  Join us as a family tomorrow for "Family Science Night."
Aloha! Last week's Teachers Appreciation Luau was a success thanks to all the donations from our parents. We appreciate all the food and time given to make our teachers feel special! The PTC thanks you!

May is our last month of Wonderground Science, but our wonderful PTC has already arranged for us to have it again next year!  This has been an amazing opportunity for our students, and we are SO GRATEFUL that your generous donations have made this a possibility!

May 16 our PTC is also sponsoring a Family Science Night at Cottage Hill 6:30-8:00 in the MPR!  Bring your whole family and participate in a variety of hands on science activities that night.  This event is free of charge, please come!

Reminder from Mrs. Butcher:

All Library Books must be turned in the week of May 20-24 during the regular class library time.  Students with missing books will be given a "bill" for the cost of replacement so that our library doesn't gradually disappear.  No report card will be issued for students with missing books/unpaid fines.  Thank you!
If you were lucky enough to order fruit trees for the Plant a Tree for Our Earth fundraiser, then you know that these trees were better than initially thought. Due to my error I had to find trees that would ultimately get donated to our school.
Fantasia - nectarine

Large freestone fruit with firm, yellow flesh and a delicious flavor. Skin is clear yellow with a bright red blush. Tree is notably vigorous and productive. Moderate chilling required.

Robada - apricot
(USPP #9890)
Aromatic and sweet freestone with deep orange coloration and a strong red blush on sun-exposed surfaces. Tree growth is upright and vigorous and harvests mid-season. Self-fertile.

Thank you to Fowler Nurseries for participating in this event!  You can go to their website for more information.
