The Cottage Hill art wear fundraiser deadline with Original Works ended this week on 4/9. However, the program is giving us one more night (4/11) for orders to be placed online! Students took home a flyer with their personalized login code. Student work was uploaded online so parents can view their child's art work in a virtual gallery.  If you are interested in ordering art wear, please go online tonight to take advantage of this opportunity!
Reminder!

We ARE in school on Monday, April 22nd, for a full day.  This is no longer a "snow day" because we did cancel school earlier in the year.

Spring Break runs through Sunday, April 21st and students not in attendance on Monday must be marked absent.

The last day of school is also extended to Friday, June 7th, which will be a minimum day.
Come one, come all!!! The end of the school year is rapidly approaching and we have much to do.  Attend the Parent Teacher Club Meeting this Wednesday, April 10th at 12:30pm in Room 17.  We will embody the the very best of the democratic system as we VOTE, VOTE, VOTE...on everything from Elections to events on campus.  We would love for new parents, seasoned parents, all parents to come and experience the excitement of affecting change in the wonderful school our students attend.  Please join us.

Help From Home Tip- Watch for an announcement this week from the Magnolia PTM for an opportunity to help out with the upcoming Father/Daughter Dance and Mother/Son Breakfast.  There will be opportunities to contribute baked goods and time for setup and cleanup for both events.
Open House this Thursday!

Join us Thursday night from 6:30-7:30 to view the classrooms!  Sweeney's Weenies will be selling a dinner deal for $5 (hot dog, chips, drink) and Odyssey of the Mind will be selling ice cream for $3.  Don't forget to visit the Art Walk in the Multi Purpose Room, too...
Open House is next Thursday, April 11 from 6:30-7:30.  This is a great opportunity for you to come and see the classroom and all the great work your child has done!

Odyssey of the Mind will be selling ice cream as a fundraising project for their upcoming trip to "Worlds", the Art Walk will be in the MPR again this year, and of course the BOOK FAIR is open until 8:00!
The deadline for ordering your yearbook is this Friday, April 5th.  Yearbooks get passed out the last week of school, and students will be given an opportunity to get autographs from their friends

Coming Soon - Spring Break!

Spring Break will be the week of April 15-19.  The school office will be closed all week.

School resumes on Monday, April 22.  This will be a "regular" Monday, with school dismissing at 2:00.  Please note: this is a change from our original calendar because we must make up the "smoke day" that we took off earlier in the year.
Plant a Tree - Protect the Earth!

In honor of Earth Day, the PTC is having a "tree sale"!  Forms will go home in the Thursday Folders next week to pre-order bare root trees (6-12") of several beautiful varieties.  Trees will be delivered later in the spring, ready to plant.  Profits from the sale will benefit our Cottage Hill Garden.

Trees range in price from $4 to $8.  Please make checks payable to "Cottage Hill PTC".  All pre-orders are due by April 5th.
